Elizabeth Gillmor has over 20 years’ experience in energy efficiency, lighting, and daylighting consulting, and she brings an unparalleled enthusiasm to her projects and clients. She founded Energetics to provide creative, timely, and cost-effective energy and daylighting solutions to building owners and design teams.

Elizabeth started her career as a lighting designer, but as her interest in lighting energy efficiency grew, she branched into daylighting design, which naturally evolved into whole building energy modeling. Since then she has guided hundreds of projects to a higher level of energy savings, documented over 50 projects seeking LEED certification, and helped her clients receive millions of dollars in utility rebates. She is also an expert in energy codes so that her clients don’t have to be.

Elizabeth is a certified Building Energy Modeling Professional (BEMP), former board member of the International Building Performance Simulation Assocation (IBPSA), active member of the IESNA Daylighting and Energy Management Committees, and is a regularly featured speaker for events such as the International Builders’ Show, Lightfair International, USGBC Rocky Mountain Green, IALD Enlighten, and Rocky Mountain ASHRAE.

David Aden joins Energetics as a Civil Engineer with 20+ years’ experience in the construction industry and a passion for energy efficiency. He excels at working directly with field construction as well as staff and project management, and merging technical engineering detail with practical project outcomes. David has also created and leads Energetics’ new Traffic Consulting services, having spent close to two decades with the Town of Parker’s Public Works Department as their first traffic engineer. He has been promoting sustainable design practices since he spearheaded the Town of Parker’s first conversions of roadway and parking lot lighting to LED technology nearly 15 years ago, when LED lighting was not yet widely used, and is excited to apply his expertise to energy efficient building design.

Jeff Slaugh

A former BBVA Vice President with a passion for green building, Jeff Slaugh managed over 25 million sf of multifamily new construction for certification services in LEED, NGBS, ENERGY STAR and other green building standards.  Jeff holds an MBA from the University of Colorado and multiple accreditations with green building program sponsors and has experience managing building testing and rating operations.  Before joining Energetics, Jeff ran the Western Region of the largest green building provider in the US for 12 years.  His responsibilities included project management and field services in varied climate zones and jurisdictions for Colorado, Arizona, Utah and California with its state energy and green code

Whether it is helping builders meet budgets while integrating sustainability or helping them deliver the benefits of healthy, energy efficient living spaces to their occupants, Jeff is happiest when all goals find a path to a sustainable future.

Jordan Thompson joined Energetics in 2021 with over four years of experience in energy efficiency and distributed generation. Prior to joining Energetics, she worked as a project engineer for various utility programs bringing energy efficiency rebates and incentives to commercial and industrial customers. She also managed, designed, and commissioned industrial battery storage systems for demand response, energy arbitrage, and microgrid use cases.
Jordan’s passions include sustainability and giving back to the community. While working in Missouri, she was an active member of Engineers Without Borders and USGBC-Missouri Gateway’s advocacy committee. She currently volunteers with the Boulder Shelter and is a member of Gear’s Volunteer Community.

Shirley joins Energetics with a degree in Environmental Design with emphasis in Architecture.  She has spent the past 20+ years in the lighting and electrical world, with a depth of experience in lighting design, electrical/power design, and most recently lighting specification sales, where she developed strong relationships in the design community, gained extensive product knowledge, and learned the latest and greatest technologies available in lighting. She is excited to be on the Energetics team, using her expertise to help teams optimize designs for energy efficiency and sustainability, while tapping into her architectural roots and shedding light on a more energy conscious world.  Pun intended.

Monica Aden joined Energetics in 2019 as our Business Manager.  With 20+ years experience managing people and projects for several different organizations throughout the Denver Metro area, and extensive knowledge from the non-profit world, Monica leads our marketing and admin efforts, and even provides certification and engineering support on select projects.  As a Denver native and a fellow graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, she is passionate about our environment, the energy we use and keeping the community we live in clean and efficient.  She is thrilled to join the Energetics Team.

Rahul Chaturvedi is a recent graduate from the University of Florida, specializing in building dynamic systems and HVAC controls. His passion for energy conservation and sustainability motivated him to come to the United States and pursue higher education in the field. He has 2 years of research experience where he developed frameworks for building energy simulations to perform efficient HVAC control and save energy. He even has a publication to his name in the Journal of Engineering for Sustainable Buildings and Cities. He is delighted to join Energetics and aspires to bring strong determination, knowledge, creativity, and passion for combating the energy crisis to the team and his work.

Reza joins Energetics with a unique combination of talents – an extensive academic background in Sustainability, along with several years of field experience in residential construction management, which he then applies in enhanced building energy analysis for his projects.  During his PhD at the University of Colorado, he published peer reviewed journal papers on CO2 reduction in power plant industries. Knowing that the buildings have the largest contribution to CO2 emissions, he is passionate about optimizing buildings energy demand while keeping the cost down to make those choices viable and feasible.

He is excited to take his knowledge and skills to another level for the common good, as part of a great team.

Mohamed joins the Energetics team with several years of energy modeling experience with a variety of building typologies across the country and overseas. He has also helped clients design resilient and innovative mechanical systems on various campuses and buildings.  In addition to energy modeling, Mohamed also leverages his computer programming skills to lead Energetics’ efforts in streamlining and automating the energy modeling workflow.  He is happy to be a part of the Energetics team and make an impact on climate change, one building at a time.

Quintin Graham recently graduated from the University of Florida, joining Energetics in 2022 as a Sustainability Analyst. With a degree in sustainability in the built environment, Quintin has an understanding of building science and why it is important to reduce our carbon footprint. He will work with both sustainability projects, assisting with green building certifications, as well as energy modeling. Quintin is thrilled to be a part of the Energetics team. Madison recently graduated from the Colorado School of Mines and is happy to be joining the Energetics team. She began working in the energy efficiency industry during college as an intern and is excited to continue learning. Madison will help clients lower their energy consumption and integrate sustainable design choices by creating energy models and performing building envelope tests. Outside of work, Madison enjoys making coffee, hiking, fishing and being outdoors.

Colleen Moauro

Colleen Moauro joined Energetics in 2023 as a Building Energy Analyst. She began her career in building energy efficiency during her masters program where she studied improved materials for building construction at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). One of her projects studied the durability of a novel, tunable phase change material for thermal energy storage in building envelopes and HVAC applications. Another project worked to develop carbon-negative concrete using byproducts from biofuels production. Colleen is overjoyed to be a member of the Energetics team and to expand her skill set within the building energy modeling field.
