Energetics is the energy and daylighting consultant for the new Mapleton Global Campus, which is a multi-phase development that includes education buildings for PK-3, 4-8, 9-12, and a Fine Arts specialty building.
The Global Leadership Academy serves grades 9-12 and was completed in 2019. Energetics performed early energy modeling and extensive daylighting analysis to help the team make design decisions, obtain Xcel rebates through the Energy Design Assistance Program, and documented energy code compliance with the 2015 IECC using the energy model. Daylighting analysis included shading analysis for the highly glazed cafeteria, skylight and fenestration recommendations for classrooms and gymnasium, and daylighting control zoning recommendations.
